Back pain: Back pain and neuropathy, (nerves firing incorrectly) might mean pinching of nerves due to spinal stenosis (problem in your back). Plain x-rays of your back and a visit with your doc to start. Depending on findings, you may be referred for advanced imaging (mri), pain injections, even surgical evaluation. Good luck.

Get seen : See your doctor. Consultation with a neurologist or neurosurgeon would be appropriate. Pain going down the legs is association with back pain can be due to a number of things including compression of the cord or nerve roots. But back pain traveling to the head is a curious symptom & needs a doctor's evaluation. If recent & getting worse, get seen right away.
