Leg ulcers herbals: Venous stasis disease caused by venous hypertension accounts for up to 70% of leg ulcers. Venous stasis ulcers only have been shown to be helped by horse chestnut seed extract in some studies. Two issues though: first, you need to know what kind of ulcers you have before taking this herbal; second, the quality of any otc extract can not be guaranteed, making recommendations difficult.
