What's 'inactive?": Very few people with hepatitis b spontaneously clear the infection, which usually persists at a low level. If you were treated for it, you may have a long-term remission and even cure. However, if your liver is already damaged, throwing other drugs, many of which are toxic to the liver, is not good for you. You should clear anything you want to use with your liver specialist.
