A member asked:

Since aps seems to be the opposite of hemophilia would a blood transfusion from an aps sufferer help a patient with hemophilia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: That's imaginative, and I appreciate it, but APS involves antibodies that will make things even worse for a hemophiliac. This is like saying that one treatment for a flat tire is to remove the remaining good tires. Ideas about "balancing" in pathophysiology are almost always misleading and simplistic. But I appreciate your thinking, and hope you'll continue to study health and illness.
