What is good in terms of number of daily meds in nursin home and can you refuse prn drugs?

Drugs when needed : Some are necessary such as diuretics when you have fluid retention, muscle relaxants for spasms, analgesics for pain etc. Other prn drugs depend upon whether or not you feel you need to take them such as sleeping pills. Best discussed with physician taking care of patient rather than nurse dispensing drug.
