Estradiol: I assume with your hysterectomy, your ovaries were also removed. Best to use Estradiol transdermal. This can be in the form of vivelle-dot or compounded Estradiol cream. New data shows that Estradiol in women in 40-50's actually decreases heart disease. So you don't need to be afraid that estrogen is going to increase your risk of heart disease if you are in your 40-50's.
