They are generally..: Continuous wear contacts are generally approved to wear for one month with out removing them. Then they are removed and thrown away. Monthly lenses generally refer to lenses that are replaced monthly and are generally worn during the day and taken out at night. They can also be worn overnight for up to one week at a time. Make sure you talk to your doctor about which lenses you have.
