Probably not: Several medications can cause the behavior of teeth grinding, but painkillers are typical not on the list. You could be having the behavior for some other reason; consult your dentist to get an oral orthotic (mouth guard).

Probably not: Most painkillers are taken for the short term and have little or none known triggers for tooth grinding. Chronic pain, however, is well known to disrupt sleep, which can in turn stimulate your body to grind the teeth. Be sure you and your doctor have the right combination of medications to keep you sleeping well through the night.
