Dental Evaluation: Severe dental pain warrants prompt dental evaluation. I don't know which pain killer you are referring to. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories may help with pain but dosing should be compliant with the manufacturers directions.

Yes: Over medication can cause problems. It sounds lik a root canal problem. Get to your dentist asap . Meds simply treat the symptoms, not the cause!
