The same day.: Your teeth begin to shift as soon as there is a change in the bite. You may not see it right away, but the process begins immediately.

Depends: It depends on a number of things. For example: where in the mouth is the space? For some people the stability of their dental arches resists the movement. For others it happens quickly. If you don't want to risk undesirable tooth movement check with your dentist.

Immediately: Slowly at first, more rapidly as time goes by. And with tooth loss comes bone loss, making replacement more difficult as time goes by. Please do the most conservative and cost effective treatment by not waiting and watching as your occlusion detiorates.
