Eyes, nose connected: The tear duct system (lacrimal) drains from the inner corner of your eye down into your nose. Once it makes it into your nose, it drains down theback of your throat. When you sneeze, the back pressure from your nose likely causes any tears with the duct to back up and cause tears from your eyes. Also, the same thing that caused you to sneeze may be making your eyes water!
