Could be: That you are describing yellow jaundice. Could be gallstones or pancreatitis if it is associated with upper abdominal pain. Other causes could be hepatitis or pancreatic tumor. Needs a doctor evaluation asap to help you find the cause abd teratment options of your illness.

Serious condition : You need to see your doctor asap it may be hepatitis a, b, c, gall bladder disease like stones and/or infection panreatitis or cancer of pancreas stomach cancer with liver metastasis cancer of liver, primary or metastatic you need a physical exam and history, blood and urine test, imaging of abdomen like ultrasound and cat scan of abdomen to make the diagnosis and treatment commonest cause is gall blad.

Jaundice, liver dz: I recommend that you make an appointment right away for an evaluation. You could have anything from liver disease( hepatitis) to biliary obstruction to liver or pancreatic cancer. The yellowing of the skin ( jaundice ) and the eyes ( sclera icterus ) is highly suggestive , as well as belly pain. An internist would be able to assess your situation and provide you with the proper treatment /referral.
