A member asked:

Can i induce labor after i lose my mucus plug?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gestational age: Appropriate labor induction is based on gestational age and medical risks affecting pregnancy. In an uncomplicated pregnancy, induction may be considered at or beyond 39 weeks. The mucus plug does not factor in to the decision.
