Contact : Most hand dermatitis is caused by irritating (too much hand washing , caustic solution) or contact dermatitis (from rubber or scented soap etc). The best approach is avoidance of the triggers. Perhaps if your hands do come into contact with water often, wearing non-latex gloves whenever possible may be one solution.
