I wouldn't: I'd use other methods. Tonsil stones are plaques that form in the tonsillar crypts. They can be brushed out with a toothbrush or picked out with many different types of long thin instruments. They can cause halitosis (bad breath). To permanently get rid of them, the tonsils can be removed so they do not form.
