How many kinds of carpal tunnel surgeries are there?

Two: Open and endoscopic. Open surgery involves a 4 CM incision at the center of your palm while the endoscopic surgery involves two1 CM small incisions (at palm and mid-palm). The endoscopic surgery has a faster recovery period while the open surgery has a lower risk profile. Ask your surgeon for more details but both surgeries (if done by someone who is comfortable with that option) are low risk.

Two main ones: There are two main kinds of surgery for cts. Both involve cutting the carpal ligament. The first is the traditional open procedure. The second uses a scope. The scope procedure has less time away from doing activities including work but it has a higher risk of problems.
