Depends: Vitamin d is really a hormone made in the skin by the action of sunlight. Your blood level should be between 60 and 80. It is poorly absorbed by mouth and i doubt that missing a dose would make much difference. The blood level is the only way of truly knowing whether you are in the rigfht range.
