A doctor has provided 1 answer

Urine collection: You will need to collect your urine for 24 hours and send that collection, along with blood work to determine your creatinine clearance and protein content of the urine. If you have a protein content of your urine > 150 mg/24 hours, you have an abnormal amount of urine. Depending on the amount of proteinuria, you may need to have further blood tests to determine if the cause of the proteinuria.
