Interesting: Paraspinal abscess is an infection of the area around the spinal cord. If the abscess compresses nerves, it can cause serious neurologic problems including paralysis. It can come from an area of adjacent infection or it can be seeded from a distant site via the bloodstream. This is usually a surgical emergency or it can be drained by ct guidance. Iv antibiotics.
