Many ways: Eating healthy can increase energy levels and as a result increase exercise and activity, which are both healthy for the heart. A bad diet, high in simple sugars, can lead to obesity and increase risk of diabetes, which is bad for the heart. Some diets have been shown to actually reverse coronary heart disease at least a little bit.
