Supportive Rx/Abx: Neonatal pneumonia overlaps in its symptom presentation with group b strep (which can present as pneumonia), aspiration & respiratory distress syndrome.Initially, samples of blood are taken for tests & treatment is started with antibiotics & as much oxygen & fluid support as is needed.Feedings may be with held initially but will be advanced when possible or given iv.
