Options include hormones, a circlage (ring that goes around the cervix to hold it closed), strict bedrest, and drugs like beta-agonists and IV magnesium. Blood pressure meds & antibiotics are used for certain types of preterm labor. Steroids are used to help mature the baby's lungs & antibiotics to prevent infection.
