What can i do about a fmaily member who seems to have ocd but focussed on praying?

OCD requires therapy: So encourage the person to talk to a mental health professional or talk to one yourself. If the person does not think their praying is excessive or causing a problem, it will be very difficult to get them to change. A clergy person may be helpful. The key to resolving OCD is learning to live with uncertainty.

Emotional support: Ocd has many forms and manifestations. Praying in response to OCD may be part of a treatment program but most find it to also need professional treatment. Praying may also be part of OCD as with scrupulousity.
