Fracture hip need to: Be fixed.Some fracture around the hip like avulsion fracture may be dose not need fixation.Ask your doctor.

Hip fracture: Each fracture has it's own personality. A femoral head, femoral neck, intertroch, subtroch, and some acetabular fractures should be fixed. Some small avulsion fractures of the lesser troch, greater troch, and pubis may be treated conservatively.
