Yes: Nails will grow back if the nail matrix is intact. It will take about 4 months for a new and normal nail to grow back.

Nail bruise: the old nail if it has blood below can separate off the nail bed and fall off but the nail grows from the skin below the cuticle at the "lunula" so if this tissue calle the germinal MATRIX IS OK THEN THE NAIL WILL BE
