Reflux: Response to medication is very individualized. The best or most efficient medication is the one which works best for that person. Both medications are in the same family and thus have a very similar mechanism if action.

H2: Both are fairly equivalent in most studies for reflux. Neither have bad drug interactions. I personally like Pepcid (famotidine) complete because it includes Pepcid (famotidine) plus an antacid...In my experience works better and quicker than even ppis like prilosec...
