Cold sore: If the baby gets cold sores it can be serious. The baby should be treated immediatly if any hint of herpes.Check to see if you have strep throat. If you begin to get recurrent cold sores, get a prescription for 12 tablets of 1gram valacyclovir so you can take 2 pills as soon as you feel the first tingling. The creams are not worth much..
