I have a small brown pigmented lesion on the left side ofthe lower lip, on the vermillion. it's been there for about 18months; i did get burned. what should i do?

Freckle on vermilion: Freckles or brown scars on vermilion lip are common and benign. See a dermatologist in case it it malignant. Have you ever used tobacco? Smoked anything? Any personal or family history of skin cancers?

Get it looked at: Probably best to have a dermatologist take a look at that its a potential risk for squamous cell carcinoma.

Labial Melanotic Mac: Its probably a labial melanotic macule, which is fancy pants for saying a benign mole on your lip. However, an examination, preferably with dermoscopy, will be very useful in determining whether it is benign or whether there is any concern for malignancy.
