Ice it: Elebate it, take some antiinflammatories, brace it with an ace bandage and if pain persists see a doctor.

Think RICE!: Best first line if treatment is rice...Rest, ice, compression and elevation. Ice 20 min at a time. Compression with ace bandage or slip on ankle brace. If any bruising, visit a podiatrist!

Ankle pain: Ankle pain should be addressed with the rice technique until you see your podiatrist. Rest, ice, compression and elevation. Don't walk on it if it hurts. You may have injured your ankle ligaments.
