Can a spyro breathing test give diffrent readings for diffrent illnesses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: Spirometry measures many different things about your lung function.... Absolute numbers are important, but ratios between certain numbers at various points in the test as well as the shape and size of the curve are very helpful in defining the illness. Tests are sometimes difficult to interpret because of the many variables involved in "normal" lung function.
