Anything's possible: I have seen the patient come to the hospital with a "stomach ache" and then deliver a normal term baby who reported normal monthly periods right up until the admission. This is highly unlikely and we always wonder if the process of denial, as in "i just can't be pregnant, " represents a real or imagined history by these patients.
