Para guard IUD: Intrauterine devices to prevent pregnancy are not perfect. Hcg levels in pregnancy usually range from 5-50 units in the first 3 weeks after the lmp. A value of 0 alone at this point is not definitive; you should repeat it in about a week. If still 0, it is unlikely you are pregnant, but you should follow up with with ob-gyn provider to determine the cause of your amenorrhea if applicable.
