What is the difference between mg% and mg/dl in blood test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Clarify/more info.: This depends a lot on what levels/results you are referring to in your blood test. For example, MCHC or mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration is reported in g/dl, which is average concentration of hemoglobin per red cell, or in % of percent of volume of red blood cells that is taken up by hemoglobin. Again, it helps to be sure of the levels in question.
