I have recently started taking 30mg of temazepam (up from 15mg) and i am having a sensation of spiders on my legs (mostly). is this a side effect?

Maybe: Formication is not a usual side-effect for temazepam, nor is it common for a new side-effect to crop up when increasing the dose of a benzodiazepine. However, any side effect is possible in any person, so you can't rule it out. Try going back to the lower dose & see if it goes away after a few days. Do not stop entirely, as you could experience withdrawal if you've taken it chronically.
