Not for about 2 week: You should avoid intercourse, tampons or douching for about 2 weeks. Usually that is the time of a post operative visit, at which time your doctor can examine the cervix to see if it has healed sufficiently to resume intercourse. Having intercourse too soon after surgery can increase your risk of infection or bleeding.
