Need evaluation: Strokes or poor brain blood flow can promote headaches in older patients. Your emboli could well have changed brain chemicals and blood flow and may have altered baseline auto-regulation. However, I am concerned re. Possible local bleeding secondary to the original damage, so get evaluated. Most likely your headaches will respond to meds used in migraines.
