Soap: Make sure you are using a mild soap such as cetaphil or dove. Sometimes some cleansers are too harsh.

Not related: Washing for acne is over rated, and too aggressive may actually worsen. If you cannot control with otc acne wash and ccreams, should see a dermatologist to get stronger meds.
