Really hard to see: Tonsils in a newborn can be really small and hard to see. Are there other oral problems, like absent or unusual uvula or palate? True congenital absence of palatine tonsils may also represent a particular immunodeficiency which can predispose the baby to infections. Please discuss with your baby's pediatrican.
