Yes disabling : Seek the help of healthcare professional. Disabling headache with vision changes should be investigated by eyecare professional to rule out a type of glaucoma, vision tested to include peripheral field vision then maybe a neurologist if persistent or suggestive of migraine type headache as can be treated and in some instances prevented
