Oral fungus: Fungus can live in warm dark places. Your mouth is one of them, and this is often normal. Sometimes, for various reasons, you can get a fungal infection. On occasion, fungus can grow in association with an oral carcinoma, but a fungal infection, in and of itself, is not a sign of carcinoma. However, you should have this discussion with your doctor as to why it may have arisen.
