Nerve irritation?: Lots depends on what is numb now, associated symptoms and more. But tissue can be scarred from past injury, aggrevated acutely and reactivate nerve irritation. Repositioning may help or massage. Always, if symptoms persist or worsen, they should be evaluated further.
