Is it healthy to not have a period at age 39?

Doctor can evaluate: A primary care doctor or an ob-gyn can evaluate, if a woman feels she is having early menopausal symptoms. Sometimes earlier menopause can run in the family, with other female relatives having similar timing. If a woman is just missing one period at age 39, that may be a simpler issue... But talking with one's doctor is the way to go.

It's common : It is common to have a missed period at 39 yr of age. It has no effect on your health. You missed a period because you did not ovulate an egg. If you don't have a period for multiple consecutive months you should see your physician. Expect to have a heavier period if you have missed your period.
