Should i switch my toothpaste in pregnancy due to the sodium saccharin contained itn it ?

Category C drug: Saccharin when used as a sweetener on a regular basis in pregnancy is classified as a category c drug. This means no human problems during fetal exposure are known but some animal studies are suggestive. When used with tooth paste the exposure is so small, unless you swallow the material, that any possible risk is minimized.

Generally: No but if you are concerned you can brush with just plain water as it is the mechanical action of the brush that removes the bacteria and not the tp.
