Depends: If you mean choroid plexus cysts? The choroid plexus is an area both sides of the fetal brain . During fetal development some fetuses will have cysts seen in that area of the brain. These cyst most ofter just disappear.Bilateral means both sides . They are usaually evaluated by perinatologists to make sure there are no associated chromosomal problems.
