What's your history?: It's true that twin pregnancies have a higher risk of preterm labor than singles but that does not mean that most deliver preterm. The best predictor of preterm labor is if someone had preterm labor on a previous pregnancy.

Probably not.: Most twins deliver preterm. In fact, the twin pregnancy appears to have a shorter duration inherently compared to singletons. The optimal time for delivery to minimize perinatal mortality in twins is 37-38 weeks, as opposed to 39-40 weeks for singletons. Finally keep in mind that >80% of twins deliver abdominally via cesarean section nowadays in the us.
