No: There are no scientific studies showing that mangosteen is beneficial in lupus or any other autoimmune disease.

Probably not: Mangosteen has some anti inflammatory properties as it has been shown to reduce levels of c-reactive protein. It may also have some value in certain infections. There is no data to show it has value as a treatment for lupus.

This has not been : Adequately studied enough to be able to answer your question. Mangosteen is being studied to determine effects of xanthones (potent antioxidants) on health.
