Not safe: From a dental standpoint it is never safe to use smokeless tobacco. The tobacco is extemely harmful to the oral tissues and can lead to oral cancer.

Never safe: Tobacco usage in any form is never safe. There are literally hundreds of toxic elements in tobacco that have proven to cause cancer and other life shortening and life threatening conditions. Since you have been off using tobacco, why not take this as an opportunity to finally kick the habit for good! it will save your life!
