Weaning: If you want to stop breastfeeding, start introducing other substitute activities. If your baby really enjoys nursing at bedtime, give her a bath in the evening so she gets a lot of attention and physical touch without nursing. Make your breasts less accessible to her. Offer her a cup for meals and water between meals. Redirect her when she wants to nurse, but give her positive attention.
