Extreme response outside from cold?

Sudden Freezing: I believe the person was asking, can I have an extreme physical response from going out in the cold, to which, i would facetiously answer, your body could instantly go into a frozen state, but more seriously answered... Viruses travel much better in the cold, and you could contract one of those little guys causing greater misery than if your body had actually frozen!
