Is it normal to have four incisions for an appendectomy scope?

It varies by surgeon: I usually use 3 incisions for laparoscopic appendectomies. However, if the need arises, I have made a 4th incision once in a blue moon. Far more important than the number of incisions is the outcome--i hope all went well.
